Grey Painted Piano Bench Thrift Store Makeover

Grey Painted Pianoforte Bench
Although the bench was a great size for our bedroom, it needed a makeover to fit in with the decor. I hauled it out to our lawn and got to piece of work.

My showtime step was to strip the top coat and stain. I used this pigment stripper and a basic paint scraper, and it didn't take me long at all to strip the pocket-sized piano demote.
I likewise unscrewed the hinges to I could remove the height of the bench to get in easier to strip and paint.
On an impulse, I grabbed a tin can of gold spray paint I've been itching to employ on something and painted the bottom half of the legs. I've been admiring piece of furniture with colour-dipped legs, so this was my hazard to give information technology a try.
